The LAB Inc.

The LAB Inc. is a business incubator and event hub for the local community. They are located in Gardena, CA, and have a large venue for networking events, workshops, and more. In order to increase their visibility and book more events, they needed a new website to accurately represent their brand and facilitate online bookings.

Project Planning

The client already had a subscription to Squarespace, and they had purchased a custom domain from GoDaddy that was configured to a website built with Webflow. They wanted to use Squarespace due to familiarity and ease of use, and wanted to point DNS to the Squarespace site. 10xDev worked with the client to choose an appropriate Squarespace template, imagery, and content for the site.

The Process

10xDev crafted designs, chose imagery, and built custom javascript modules to add interactivity to the site. After updates, the client reviewed our work and provided feedback, which was then incorporated. 10xDev provided keyword research to help target high intent queries and improve the site's visibility in search results. We worked with the client to ensure the site was optimized for SEO at the code and content level. Custom ld+json schemas were also implemented to improve the site's visibility to LLMs and search engines.

Since this was an image-heavy site, 10xDev diligently implemented image optimizations and a responsive design to ensure the site was optimized for all screen sizes. Custom CSS was also used to enhance the site's appearance and improve user experience.

The Results

The site was launched in under 2 weeks, and the client was very satisfied with the results. They are now proud to have a website that accurately represents their brand and facilitates online bookings.
